POSITION OPEN: Long Term Substitute Teacher - 7th Grade Language/Literature and Speech Part-time, 3 hours/day, M-F Temporary, Exempt Position Expected Start Date : September 2023 LOCATION: Norup International School COMPENSATION : $75/day to be paid via Edustaff QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate. Demonstrated training and/or experience appropriate for the assignment. Experience working with middle school-aged children. Ability to plan and prepare units of study, lessons, and activities with clear learning objectives that reflect current standards and district curricula. Ability to create an environment of respect and rapport that supports learning and a sense of physical and emotional safety. Ability to organize and manage classroom instruction and procedures, as well as maintain accurate records. Ability to communicate positively, clearly, and accurately with students.
