This position begins 1-11-2027 and runs through 4-20-2027. QUALIFICATIONS: • Valid Michigan School Counselor (NT) Endorsement, valid Temporary School Counselor License (TSCL), or a valid Long-Term Substitute Permit with appropriate counseling background/coursework required. • Master's degree in School Counseling, School Social Work, or related behavioral health field preferred. • Previous counseling or student guidance experience at the secondary level preferred. • Knowledge and fluency related to Spanish preferred. • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with high school students, parents/guardians, administration, and staff. • Strong communication, technology, crisis-intervention, and organizational skills. • Understanding of high school graduation requirements, college/career readiness planning, and social-emotional support strategies for diverse student populations.
