Position type: Student Support Services / School Counselor. Title: LES Intervention Counselor (Per grant fund availability) General Description: T he goal of the Intervention Counselor is to engage and support identified students in reaching academic and school success. The Counselor will utilize a tiered system of intervention strategies while working with students, staff and parents/guardians to assist students. The Intervention Counselor will provide assistance to identified students, individually and/or in groups regarding school work, behaviors, attendance, and other academic/social/emotional barriers that may interfere with school success.
