Youth Enrichment Instructor - After School ART Classes Position Type: Ann Arbor Public Schools - Community Education & Recreation (Rec & Ed) Instructor When Needed: Fall 2025, Winter 2026, and/or Spring 2026 Class Location(s): Ann Arbor Public Schools (K-5 or K-8 schools) Time Commitment: 1 day/week after school, from the time school lets out until 5:00 or 5:30pm POSITION SUMMARY: Are you creative and artistic, and wish to share your skills and passion with others? We are looking for a talented artist and people-person to teach high-quality visual arts classes to school-aged youth. The art medium you teach will depend on your level of knowledge and experience as well as your level of comfort. Classes will be held one day per week and begin immediately after school, running until 5:00 or 5:30pm. The overall class length will be 6, 8, or 10 weeks depending on the term. Class supplies are to be provided by the instructor. There may be additional teaching opportunities in Rec & Ed’s early childhood program and/or in summer camps, if desired.
