TITLE: WAVE Student Support Paraprofessional SUMMARY: The WAVE Student Support paraprofessional position facilitates learning gains with at-risk teenagers and ensures their success at earning a high school diploma. The WAVE Student Support paraprofessional supports the paraprofessional staff in implementing individual student education plans and positive behavioral support services/programs for students with emotional and/or behavioral disorders. The position involves assisting teacher consultants, classroom teachers and teaching teams with any and all of the students in the classroom/program, under the teacher’s or case manager’s direction. You will work collaboratively in a blended, project based learning educational setting with a presence in our face to face lab with students guiding them in developing and completing curriculum projects that meet Michigan content expectations.
