Position type: Athletics / Activities / Coaching. Location: Groves High School. Birmingham Public Schools is seeding a Coach for the Boys Varsity Volleyball team for the 2026-27 season. Major Duties and Responsibilities Create and maintain a program of excellence that is positive, safe, educational and sportsmanlike. Organize and plan regular season practice and training. Organize and plan pre-season work-outs, conditioning and camps as permitted by the MHSAA. General oversight and direction of the entire program (Freshman, JV and Varsity) Supervise sub-varsity coaching staff. Work with parents' booster club to support the team. Foster positive relationships with parents and community members. Report to Athletic Director and Principal.
