Position Title: Middle School Sideline/Competitive Cheer Coach Reports To: Building Principal/Athletic Director Salary: $700.00 Stipend per the SEA CBA Start Date/End Date: December, 2026 – February, 2027 Job Summary: The Cheer Coach is responsible for organizing, planning, and leading the middle school cheerleading program. This includes teaching cheers, stunts, and dance routines; promoting school spirit; always ensuring safety; and fostering teamwork, discipline, and leadership among team members. The coach will work closely with the athletic department, school administration, and parents to support athletic events, competitions, and school functions. Key Responsibilities: Plan and conduct practices focused on cheer techniques, stunting, tumbling, and performance. Lead the cheer team in promoting school spirit at games, pep rallies, special events and focus on crowd engagement. Choreograph routines for halftime shows, assemblies, and competitions.
