Job Summary The goal of this position is to support students in Kindergarten - 3rd grade in developing reading skills. This role focuses on foundational reading skills through the Science of Reading. The paraprofessional will utilize scripted, evidence-based literacy strategies, under the guidance of coaches, to assess and track student progress. Role and Responsibilities 1. Conduct small group tutoring sessions with students using scripted, evidence-based literacy strategies provided by the district. 2. Assist children in improving their reading skills and abilities to reach grade level expectations. 3. Assess, with a high level of accuracy, students' continual progress using the designated benchmark and progress monitoring assessments. 4. Provide complete, accurate, and timely documentation of students' weekly progress scores and strategies using the online database provided by the district. 5.
