Position type: Misc Non Certified Groups / Stay and Play. Location: ALLEN EARLY LEARNING ACADEMY. POSITION: Stay & Play Parent / Toddler Program - Assistant Instructor LOCATION: P-CCS Community Education (Room K1) at Allen Early Learning JOB SUMMARY: Assist the lead instructor with guiding 2-3 year olds in a small group learning structure. Cover various topics through hands-on activities with parent in-class involvement throughout the course of the school year. Program runs between September and June. Additional hours for training, prep and/or tear-down just prior to / after program dates as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : 1. High School graduate preferred. 2. Demonstrate aptitude, competence and/or previous experience working with young children. 3. Good attendance record. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. Assist the lead teacher in program implementation, which provides for physical activities, self-expression through arts, crafts and play, socialization with peers, and parent interaction. 2.
