REPORTS TO: Director of Special Services and Building Principal QUALIFICATIONS: State of Michigan Teacher Certification One or more of the following Special Education endorsements: SM (preferred), SE, SA PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILIES: Demonstrate the ability to model, deliver, and craft rich student-centered learning experiences through direct instruction to students on the resource room teacher's caseload and may assign grades or other evaluative measures for this instruction. Provide direct and consultative support to the general education classroom teachers to whom special education students on the resource room teacher's caseload have been assigned. Time will be allocated to the resource room teacher to carry out this responsibility. Provide services/instruction at multiple buildings (as needed). Work in partnership with staff through guidance/planning/scheduling for instructional aides working with caseload students. Demonstrate the ability to provide supplemental instruction to students on his or her caseload.
