Position type: High School Teaching. Location: Vassar Middle and High School. Summary of Position: Provide high-quality, caring, and certified instruction to students who may have physical, intellectual, emotional, and/or learning disabilities, and work collaboratively with district administration, colleagues, students, parents, and the board to accomplish or surpass the educational goals of the district and any IEP's. Work as a collaborative team member to implement the curriculum and accomplish short- and long-term academic goals. Qualifications: Valid Michigan Teaching Certification in Special Education or valid Michigan Teaching Certification with immediate interest in obtaining Special Education certification.
