Special Education Supervisor Position Summary The Special Education Supervisor provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of the district's special education programs and services. The Supervisor works collaboratively with administrators, teachers, related service providers, students, and families to ensure compliance with federal and state special education regulations while promoting high-quality educational opportunities for students with disabilities. The Special Education Supervisor maintains a caseload of students, oversees the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), supports staff in meeting student needs, and ensures that special education services are delivered effectively and efficiently throughout the district. Qualifications Required Qualifications Valid Michigan teaching certificate. Endorsement in Special Education. Master's Degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or related field preferred.
