POSITION: Special Education Paraprofessional LOCATION: Field Elementary School HOURS: 37.5 hours weekly Monday � Friday 8:30am � 4:30pm JOB GOAL : Paraprofessional will provide support physical needs, toileting, lunch support and physical management for students with IEP's. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : High school graduate or equivalent. Demonstrate ability to work with parents, students and support personnel. Good communication skills. Good attendance record. Good organization skills. Ability to be self-directed. Ability to engage in problem identification and solving. Ability to maintain good rapport with staff/parents/students. Previous experience as a one-on-one paraprofessional preferred. Experience working with children with health impairments preferred.
