PLACEMENT: Special Education PRIMARY ASSIGNMENT: Special Education Paraprofessional � CI program (Grades K-2 � Multiple Positions) LOCATION: Bentley Elementary School HOURS: 37.5 hours per week Monday � Friday 8:30am � 4:30pm *Report to primary assignment daily, but may be assigned to other duties or positions within special education based on day to day building and program needs. JOB GOAL : Paraprofessional will provide overall support for students with IEP's. Areas of support may include instructional, self-care, physical, behavioral, and/or toileting. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : High school graduate or equivalent. Demonstrate ability to work with parents, students and support personnel. Good communication skills. Good attendance record. Good organization skills. Ability to be self-directed. Ability to engage in problem identification and problem solving on behalf of the student(s).
