REPORTS TO: Building Principal FTE Position Building 1.0 School Social Worker District Required Qualifications: Master’s in Social Work~Clinical License 500+ clock hours of a supervised social work practicum At least 1 year of experience as a school social worker with direction from a fully approved social worker Experience working with school age students. Professional tact, diplomacy and presentation with administrators, staff, teachers, students, parents and community members Competency in oral and written communications Has undergone a physical examination, by a licensed physician, that documents capability to perform required duties Has an electronic fingerprint clearance from a criminal history record check Responsibilities: Performs casework service with individual students to correct those personal, social, or emotional maladjustments related to their educational and social progress.
