School Psychologist BUILDING: Ypsilanti Community High School REPORTS TO: Building Principal SALARY: $45,784 - $55,672 SUMMARY: Evaluates pupils referred as potential candidates for Special Education program and present a report to the local education authority on pupils he/she has evaluated. Test may include intelligence, achievement, personality and perceptual motor test. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducts psychological evaluations of referred students. Provides ideas for effective instructional programming. Participates in I.E.P.T.'s and case conferences when referred students are involved, or as requested. Serves as a resource person concerning handicaps for other school personnel. Interprets diagnoses to school personnel, other concerned professionals, parents, and students. Makes recommendations on ways to assist students in learning in the least restrictive environment. Assists in planning by working with school staff to improve special services.
