Position type: Elementary School Teaching / Physical Education. Location: The Dearborn Academy. The Dearborn Academy a Pre K- 8 Charter School is seeking a Physical Education Teacher. Teacher is responsible for the direct instruction of physical education to students. In addition, they are responsible for planning instruction, setting goals, implementing curriculum as well as the clear and timely communication of standards, achievements and deficiencies to student and parents. Position Specific Responsibilities: Implement the assigned program of study. Foster a classroom climate conducive to learning. Utilize instructional and classroom management systems that increase learning and maximize time on task. Monitor student progress towards achieving instructional objectives and goals.
