POSITION TITLE: Physical Education/Health Teacher DEPARTMENT: Romulus Middle School REPORTS TO: Building Principal PAY SCHEDULE: As per REA Collective Bargaining Agreement and Experience EFFECTIVE: Immediate Qualifications : Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with K-12 endorsement in Physical Education � MB and Health - MA. Major or Minor in Specified Content Area � (Minor must have passed the Specified Content Area - MTTC Test). Teaching experience in a multi-cultural setting. Demonstrated knowledge of multiple intervention strategies with individuals and groups. Familiar with Best Practice and Procedures for Physical Education to establish a quality Middle School Physical Education / Health Program. Experience with Mastery Learning / OBE Outcome strategies. Experience with technology and multimedia to enhance teaching, learning, and student engagement. Training and/or knowledge of Professional Learning Communities, preferred.
