Possess certification as a teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing as approved by the State Board of Education. Possess a master’s degree in education or a field of study related to special education. Recommendation to the State Board of Education, by employing superintendent, or his or her designee, for approval as a teacher consultant.
