Position type: Student Support Services / Playground Supervisor. Location: Sault Ste Marie Public Schools. Supervisors : Recess, Hallway, Bus, Lunch Supervision Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Start time and End time vary depending on building needs) Supervisor JOB DESCRIPTION Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to work in a school setting efficiently monitoring playground and/or lunchroom as necessary. Ability to work well with others, especially school-age children, to encourage an atmosphere of both order and hospitality in the lunch line, serving area and on the playground. Reports to: BUILDING PRINCIPAL Job Goals: To monitor the playground, lunchroom and/or hallways to keep a safe, efficient and pleasant atmosphere. Performance Responsibilities: Assist building principal in keeping a safe, orderly and well run playground and/or lunchroom. Other duties as assigned.
