POSITION OPEN: Paraeducator - Classroom & Bus Support; Non-Exempt Position LOCATION: Angell Elementary & Berkley Schools- ALT Location HOURS: Approximately 32.5 Hours/Week Angell Classroom 17.5 Hours/Week (Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 1:30 pm) Bus 15 Hours/week (Monday - Wednesday, 7:30 - 9:30 am & 1:30 - 4:30 pm) COMPENSATION: Per the Berkley Education Association of Paraeducators (BEAP) QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma required: 2 years of college preferred. An experienced Paraeducator with background assisting a student with disabilities. Applicant should have general knowledge of elementary curriculum in reading, writing, math and science and possess skills in these areas at the elementary school level. The applicant must be a positive, upbeat individual who is caring and flexible and must be able to adjust to the physical and emotional needs of the student.
