POSITION : Middle School Teacher Consultant LOCATIONS: West and Liberty The Teacher Consultants will support a cohort of district middle school buildings. This person will work with classroom teachers to develop inclusive and innovative learning methods for 6-8 students with Individualized Educational Plans. They will serve as an advisor to special education and general education instructional staff in the area of academic achievement, classroom management, and the creation of equitable teaching and learning materials to support students with disabilities. This includes providing disability specific support and services, problem solving and crisis prevention and intervention. The Teacher Consultant will be involved in supporting instruction in special education programs, daily activities and working closely with teachers, families, and students. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 1.
