June 05, 29026 JOB TITLE: MAINTENANCE (2) JOB SUMMARY: This general maintenance worker is responsible for the physical and mechanical maintenance of the district's buildings, equipment, and grounds. He/she is responsible for implementing a preventative maintenance program. MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have training and successful work experience in the following areas�ventilation, plumbing, electrical, boilers, heating and/or air conditioning, alarm systems, locksmith, carpet laying, masonry skills and carpentry. Proof of chauffeur's license within 30 days of job award. Ability to drive all maintenance vehicles, including trucks, tractors, and snowplow. Must have successful maintenance experience in a large commercial or school district setting. Ability to solve problems and finish an assigned task when working alone. Ability to prioritize and follow through on assigned work orders in a timely manner. Ability to read and understand blue prints.
