LUNCH MONITOR JOB DESCRIPTION: To maintain schools and other facilities to the extent that students and employees can work in a healthy and safe environment. To work collaboratively with the department and building administration. To foster an inclusive work environment and maintain high morale. QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent attendance record. Fluent written and verbal English and Arabic are preferred. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, students, and the general public. Knowledge of and/or ability to learn occasional hazards and safety precautions. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises students in the cafeteria during lunch periods in the serving line, while eating, and during cafeteria dismissal. Maintains discipline in the cafeteria according to school policies. Reports all student injuries, accidents, illnesses, and discipline problems to the appropriate authority immediately, or as soon as reasonably possible.
