POSITION: Special Education Paraprofessional Infant-Preschool Special Education Program LOCATION: Allen Early Learning Academy/IPSEP HOURS: 30 hours per week (one week per month at 37.5 hours) Monday � Thursday (and one Friday per month) 8:00am � 4:00pm JOB GOAL : Paraprofessional will work with teachers, support staff and students as directed and necessary to maintain safety and to support student learning, self-care and overall achievement and progress. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : High school graduate or equivalent. Demonstrate ability to work with parents, students and support personnel. Good communication skills. Good attendance record. Good organization skills. Ability to be self-directed. Ability to engage in problem identification and solving. Ability to maintain good rapport with staff/parents/students.
