Position type: Extended Day / Extended Day Floater. Location: PCCS district. POSITION: Extended Day Floater Assistant and Supervisor Floater Positions Extended Day Program QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate. Previous experience working with school age children and/or university related course work. Demonstrate aptitude and/or competence working with school age children. Site Supervisor Floater must have a minimum of 60 hours of college course working, including 12 hours in a child related field. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reports to Kids' Time sites as assigned by the substitute caller. Work cooperatively with the site team to implement daily activities. Carry out lesson plans and follow daily schedule as outlined by site director when site director absent. Develop effective communication with the parents of children enrolled in the program. Work with School Resource Personnel as needed. Provide a safe, nurturing, child-oriented environment and meet Environmental Health guidelines regarding cleanliness.
