JOB DESCRIPTION Oak Park School District is thrilled to announce the creation of the new position of Elementary School Assistant Principal. The position was created in response to the growing number of students enrolled at the elementary grade level. The Elementary Assistant Principal reports to the building Principal and works collaboratively with the elementary school administration team, teaching staff, ancillary staff, and central office leaders to provide students with an optimal learning environment that is rich in diversity, opportunities, and tradition. The Assistant Principal provides support and nurtures a caseload students grades K-5, as it relates to academics, attendance, discipline, and social emotional well-being.
