POSITION : Elementary Academic Interventionist (contracted through EduStaff) LOCATION : Oakwood Elementary and Harvey-Swanson Elementary MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with an Elementary endorsement is preferred; endorsement in ESL or a foreign language is strongly desired Demonstrated training and/or expertise appropriate for the assignment is preferred Fluent in English Fluent in another language, in addition to English, is preferred POSITION OVERVIEW: This position provides specialized support to English Language Learners (ELLs) by delivering targeted instruction in English language proficiency, collaborating with teachers and parents, assessing student progress, and using data to guide their intervention plans.
