Position type: Student Support Services. Location: Dailey Elementary. INTERNAL / EXTERNAL POSTING Only those applicants who meet the required education and/or experience requirements should apply for this position QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE OF: 1. Possess a degree in education, counseling, social work, psychology, or criminal justice with extensive work in school aged students in low income, urban areas. 2. Exceptional social and team building skills. 3. High credibility and trust by staff, parents, and students in the building. 4. Have experience and willingness to facilitate groups. 5. Must satisfactorily pass criminal record and background clearance. 6. Must comply with Student Safety Initiative Legislation, as amended. PERFORMANCE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Work alongside behavior interventionist with restorative practice in mind. 2. Maintain a positive room environment for students who need to be counseled as to the way of the culture plan. 3.
