Position Summary: The Boys Golf Coach will lead and oversee the Boys Golf program which serves a diverse student population in a rural setting. The coach is responsible for developing student-athletes to succeed on the course, in the classroom, and in the community. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective training, game strategies for student-athletes. Foster a supportive and disciplined team culture that emphasizes character, teamwork, and academic success. Organize and manage practices, game schedules, equipment. Collaborate with school administration, teachers, and athletic staff to support student-athletes academically and personally. Recruit and mentor assistant coaches, providing guidance on player development, training techniques, and adherence to program goals. Ensure all safety guidelines, including medical and health protocols, are followed during practices, games, and events. Promote school and community spirit and encourage attendance and involvement in games and athletic events.
