Position type: Elementary School Teaching / Early Childhood. Location: Consolidated Community School Services. Date available: 11/06/2026. Consolidated Community School Services is looking for an Associate Teacher for our Newberry GSRP Preschool. The ideal candidate will be able to work under the direction of the Lead Teacher but also be able to work independently. An Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, a teaching certificate with a ZA, ZS or PK-3 endorsement, or a CDA is preferred, but a person with a high school diploma who is willing to earn either the Associates Degree or CDA in a timely manner will also be considered. The Associate Teacher will be part of a team under the guidance of the the lead teacher and will be expected to be able to monitor students, help with playground duties for the preschoolers, help with group and individual instruction and parent communication among other duties. This is a school day, full school year program. Compensation will be dependent upon experience and qualifications. Applicants must pass a background check.
